Our Fibre Network
ElectraNet telecommunications services offer low-latency, scalable bandwidth options, offering up to 100Gbps across our network, with greater bandwidth available on request.
ElectraNet backhaul is provided on a totally unique and diverse fibre path to all other carriers and fibre service providers, operating on our critical infrastructure assets. The fibre services are built using Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) aerial wire which provides physical resiliency and with 24/7 support via our SA-based Network Operations Centre.
ElectraNet are working with our telecommunication partners to enable Intercapital high bandwidth, low-latency connectivity between Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne using the latest fibre network products and services. Intercapital Data Centre delivery date between Adelaide and Sydney is expected by early 2026 and between Adelaide and Melbourne as of mid-2026.
