John O’Dea

John joined ElectraNet in 2018 after gaining extensive experience in financial and strategic leadership roles across banking, rural services and in a new statutory corporation.

John previously worked as Chief Financial Officer at TAFE SA and as Head of Planning and Performance for Elders Limited.

Throughout his career Mr O’Dea has lead significant commercial transformations and had had a distinguished 22-year career in the banking and finance sector having worked at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, Barclays Bank in London and ANZ Banking Group. Mr O’Dea is a CPA, holds an MBA from the University of Adelaide, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
