Nicola joined ElectraNet in 2018 and has 25 years of experience practising law in Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Canada and London and has built and led legal and other teams in a number of senior in-house and private practice roles. Nicola is an experienced commercial lawyer with extensive experience in the areas of asset protection, succession planning, structuring and business transactions.

Nicola worked across a number of ElectraNet’s major projects as the key legal resource from 2018 until she was  promoted to Executive Legal, Risk and Governance in 2018 to lead the Legal, Risk, Governance & Assurance, Land & Approvals and Sustainability teams. In 2025 her portfolio expanded to include the leadership of ElectraNet’s Safety team.

Nicola has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Adelaideand is  a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Nicola is a Councillor for the South Australian Chamber of Mining and Energy and a Director for Motor Neurone Disease South Australia.
