Sophie is a strategic Executive Leader passionate about creating inclusive work environments where people can thrive.

In her current role, Sophie is responsible for ElectraNet’s People, Safety, Business Continuity, Facilities, Organisational and Cyber Resilience teams to ensure that ElectraNet has the capability, systems, and process to proactively mitigate risk, maintain business resilience, and manage recovery.

Sophie joined ElectraNet in 2018 providing strategic business partnering to the Network Services and Asset Management divisions. In 2020 she was promoted to Head of Human Resources leading ElectraNet’s workforce and employee engagement strategy through the People partnering and HR operations team. Later that year Sophie took on a broader leadership role aligning the people team with change management, internal and external communications, brand and media to drive business transition, market and employee engagement through her role as Manager People and Communications. Sophie has a strong history in human resources, having worked in the field for more than 20 years specialising in strategy, design, development and implementation of business, HR and organisational development solutions to enhance individual and organisational performance.

Sophie has a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor Arts Hons (Psychology), and is a registered and endorsed Organisational Psychologist. Sophie is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Electric Super Board, previous Chair of the College of Organisational Psychologists (SA Branch) and State Councillor of the Australian Human Resource Council.
